Classes highlight a theme, or alignment emphasis, introduced in the beginning of class. Students are led through a series of poses designed to explore or support the chosen theme. Students are always encouraged to work at their own pace and to take care of themselves. Breathwork, yoga philosophy, and lots of laughs are woven into class.
Prenatal yoga classes are specially designed for women in all stages of pregnancy to build strength and flexibility as well as to provide relief from pregnancy discomforts, tools for birth, a place to learn about community resources, and a safe space to discuss all things pregnancy related.
Postnatal yoga classes are specially designed for women who have new babies (newborn to crawling). Poses in this class are specially chosen to promote childbirth healing, relieve shoulder and back discomfort associated with feeding and carrying an infant, and to begin rebuilding strength and flexibility in the pelvis and core muscles. This class also provides an invaluable community of emotional support and community resources for mothers during this time.
Beth offers workshops and works one-on-one with women experiencing pelvic issues. Some of these issues include: Sciatica, low back pain, incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, menstrual or digestive issues, pelvic floor, sexual discomfort/disfunction, and more.
